Today we finished our Embassy work! Horray! Now we can relax and do some sight seeing and shopping. The weather has been absolutely perfect here- not to hot or cold. I think it must feel cool to the Indian people, however- everyone is all bundled up! Nanda doesn't seem to be too cold. Just wait until she gets off the plane. Bob, don't forget her coat when you pick us up! Jim shows Molly and Nanda a video he just took of Molly dancing until her skirt falls down. It was funny because after the skirt fall off, she steps on the beaded tie, and starts to whine and cry about it.
Jim shows off his new "do"- Indian #2.
Molly and Nanda spend alot of time coloring. I bought a book of "hidden pictures" sort of like paint by number, and they love it. Now they are making their own hidden pictures for each other to do.
Love to you all! We are still having fun, but it will be nice to get home. Karaba's- give Clawedlette some love for us. We miss you fuzzy guy!
Melinda

At least Jim won't need a haircut until summer...
Love the pics - Molly and Nanda seem to be getting along great! Glad you're done at the Embassy - that should relieve all kinds of tension! Do you still have more "official business," or is it purely sightseeing from here on out? Sounds like all of the official stuff went smoothly, thankfully! When do you leave India? I know you'll be back home on Saturday, but the time shift has me all confused.

We love you!

We laughed at the thought of Indian#2! There IS a difference! Loved seeing Nanda laugh and she and Molly look as if they are having so much fun together. What a lovely sight! Glad the Embassy stuff is done. Look forward to having you back in the USA
Love,
Mike and Nan

We look forward to checking on you every morning! I am sure you are getting anxious to come home, but how nice that you all have this time out of the hustle and bustle of being home to bond as a family - nothing getting in the way. You all look very happy. You will be home soon...and then another chapter begins!
Love,
Lis

The girls look like they have so much fun together. Great that they can communicate in the international language of coloring! I like Jim's haircut...I didn't know Randy had been getting the Indian # 2 all this time! I hope you're done with all your official business and glad to hear that you'll be home soon.

Love to you all,

Denise

How blessed Nanda is that you and Jim have welcomed her into your family. It sounds as though laughter and smiles and love are working their magic and getting through the language barrier. Does Nanda know any English ...other than No, Mom?

And regarding snow - Nanda will see it first hand falling out of the sky by Monday. Molly will have to show her how to build a snowgirl...and make snow angels!

It's been great fun reading your blogs and seeing the wonderful pictures. And what a gift for Nanda to read when she's grown up and can look back at the time when her life changed.

Safe and smooth travels back home.

"meow, meow, meow!" I believe what Clawed is saying is, "I am having fun at the Karaba's, but I miss my family. They do feed me LOTS of treats though." The five of you are on my mind everyday. Be safe, enjoy your time and hurry home...to a Fat Cat.
Love to you all
