Molly walks on water at the hotel pool.
We tried to take Nanda shopping after all that running around, but she wasn't up for it. I have to keep reminding myself how different everything is for her. She is doing really well, all things considered. She has a great sense of humor, and laughs when I make a fool of myself (which is often). Last night when I was telling stories to the girls as I tucked them into bed, she sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to me. My heart melted! Jim took Molly on a hotel tour for a while, and when they returned, she rolled her eyes as if to say "here comes trouble!".
Thanks for all the comments, we love to read them and are encouraged by them each day. Keep them coming!

I was thinking the same thing when you said that Pratima prefers Nanda - Nanda Plamann sounds right, because it's like Melinda Plamann. It sounds like she's doing really well, especially considering all the new experiences she's having! How's Molly? Get them both ready for snow - it looks like we have 2-3" this morning... I'm sure Thiensville will be a winter wonderland when you arrive!
Can't wait until you're all home! We love you!
love, Jody
Before you know it she will be singing a little Jonas Brothers.....or not!
Get ready for winter. It is beautiful outside today, but cold and snowy.
Madeline really wanted you to know that she thinks the name Nanda is pretty.

Wow, I didn't know I could leave you a note--thanks for cluing me in! We have been eagerly devouring your every post and praying for you non-stop over the past week. Your daily posts really help us to know how to pray. May God help bond you as a family, may Nanda know your love, may Molly welcome a new sister with joy, may God keep you all safe and healthy. We can't wait to see your new family back home! Grace hopes she can be friends with Nanda. I wonder what grade you will have her in at church. Thanks for the great tidbits--your insights are so touching!
Love, Lauren
I agree with Jody, Nanda Plamann sounds easy because it's just like your name!
It sounds like everything is going so smoothly, thank God! It's so evident that you guys are completely covered in prayer. How wonderful to have so many faithful friends and family ready to welcome Nanda!
We're so glad you guys are updating the blog every day! It's the first thing we do every morning, check to see if you've updated. The girls (Rachel especially) LOVE seeing the photos of their cousins.
Great photo of Molly walking on water! And I love the photo of the girls playing. It's so much fun to read about your adventures!
We're having a little snowstorm here in Park Ridge. Abigail was very excited about the snow today and was hoping school would be cancelled. Her wish did not materialize.
Gotta get back to work.
Hugs!!

Hi everyone! I've finally figured out how to leave a message so my apologies for the delay in letting you know we're thinking about you, praying for you and anxiously awaiting your safe return home to the snowy midwest. I can only imagine what Nanda will think of the future winter :). Who knows, maybe she'll like the snow and cold weather more than we will. The pictures are beautiful, Nanda is beautiful and all of you look so happy. While journeys are often met with small setbacks, know that you are doing a truly remarkable thing and giving this beautiful girl a life she would never have experienced elsewhere. The girls are excited to meet Nanda and see Molly again. Kate hopes she likes cats as much as she and Molly do!
All our love and prayers,
Alison, Rick, Kate & Libby
From one adoptive mother to another I share your joy and multitude of emotions! Know that each one of you are in my prayers. Our God is an awesome God!! Much love, kathy
Sorry I'm so slow on knowing how to leave a message. We have been following your blog everyday. The boys and I are thinking of you and are so grateful you're safe and getting closer to your journey home.
Nanda is such a beautiful name and a beautiful girl! Jacob said he will be friends with Nanda so she won't be sad.
Tell Molly what an awesome sister she is being already and that we love her!!
